Prada launched Timecapsule NFT collection on June 2, while ESC 2022 winners Kalush Orchestra successfully raised $900,000 to help Ukraine.
On June 2, the Italian luxury fashion designer Prada stated that it’s delving into Web3 even more and introducing its first independent Timecapsule NFT collection. The collection is described as gender-neutral, which means that anybody, regardless of gender, may wear it.
In fact, Prada introduced the Timecapsule initiative way back in 2019. The NFT will be part of the project which will drop exclusive items on Prada’s official website that will be available on the first Thursday of every month for 24 hours.

Prada stated that the design of the asset will be “decorated with Cassius Hirst’s signature mask and brain scan designs” that will represent unity and collaboration. According to the official press release, collectors will be able to purchase the asset in the latest drop on June 2.
On top of that, the non-fungible token owners will have the opportunity to receive various prizes and future drops. Every Timecapsule item will have its own unique serial number and will come in a custom package. Prada Timecapsule NFTs are reported to be backed up on the Ethereum (ETH) blockchain.
In addition, Prada also introduced a new community server dubbed “Prada Crypted” on VoIP and instant messaging social platform Discord.
Earlier this year, Prada also partnered with sports clothing brand Adidas to launch its third NFT collaboration called “adidas for Prada re-source.” The initiative featured award-winning digital artist Zach Lieberman.
Ukraine’s Kalush Orchestra Raises $900,000
Ukraine’s hip hop group Kalush Orchestra, the winners of the 66th Eurovision Song Contest, announced that it would sell the glass microphone trophy to raise funds for Ukraine in the midst of Russia’s aggression against the country.
After several days, it was announced that the crypto exchange WhiteBIT won the auction and bought the NFT for 50 ETH, estimated at $900,000. All of the funds will be transferred to the Serhiy Prytula Foundation.
Serhiy Prytula’s CO Charitable Foundation has been providing for the Ukrainian army for many years, collecting supplies and reacting directly to the immediate needs of all military divisions.

Kalush Orchestra also commented and stated:
“You guys are amazing. We appreciate each and every one of you who donated to this auction and a special thanks to the team WhiteBit who purchased the trophy for $900,000 and are now the rightful owners of our trophy.”
The auction took place on the Meta History platform, started on May 25, and concluded on May 28.
